
Swiggy would invest Rs 1,000 crore in its subsidiary Scootsy for business expansion
Food delivery and quick-commerce stage SwiggyLimited has reported an investment of up to Rs 1,000 crore (around $117 million) in its wholly owned subsidiary, Scootsy Logistics, to back commerce development and operational growth.
The choice was affirmed at a board assembly held on February 21, 2025, where Swiggy outlined it arrange to contribute the sum in one or more tranches through a rights issue, as expressed in its stock exchange filing.
Swiggy affirmed that the speculation will be made through cash thought, with offers estimated at Rs 7,640 per share, counting a premium of Rs 7,630 per share.
