Pakistan offers support to Nepal amid flood and landslide crisis
KATHMANDU: Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his deep sorrow over the deaths caused by the natural disasters, as well as his sympathies to Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and the people of Nepal. Pakistan has declared that it is ready to assist Nepal in recovering from the horrific floods and landslides that occurred during the previous period.
Pakistan stressed its support with Nepal during this trying time in a statement released from its Embassy in Kathmandu. Pakistan mentioned its own experience with devastating floods in 2022. Pakistan's government has declared its willingness to help Nepal manage the aftermath of the calamity.
With Pakistan helping Nepal recover from the devastation, the deed demonstrates the spirit of cooperation and support that exists between the two nations throughout natural disasters.
