Nepal collects over Rs 72 million from Lisbon mobile camp for e-passports
In Lisbon, a mobile camp organized by the Department of Passports and the Nepali Embassy in Paris collected 3,829 applications for electronic passports (e-passports) from Portuguese applicants. The initiative generated over Rs 72 million in revenue.
The camp offered various consular services, including passport issuance, travel permits, and approvals, according to Moti Bahadur Shris, Director of the Department of Passports. The successful operation reflects a significant demand for passport services among the Nepali community in Portugal.
