4 arrested for writing grade XII exam with leaked answer sheets
KATHMANDU: The District Police Range in Kathmandu has publicly disclosed the identities of four individuals who were apprehended along with Grade XII answer sheets from the National Examination Board. The arrested individuals are Madhav Tripathi, aged 38 and residing in Kapan, Kathmandu Metropolis-6, Sabin Paudel, aged 19 and from Dakshinkali municipality-8, Sitesh Kumar Yadav, aged 20 and residing in Kageshwori Manahara, and Roshan Ranabhat, aged 23 and from Thali, Kathmandu, according to SP Nabaraj Adhikari.
They were caught in the act of writing on the answer sheets for the Grade XII computer science examination, for which the question papers had been leaked prior to the scheduled examination time of 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday. The arrests were made at the Welcome Party Palace in Kathmandu Metropolis-6. SP Adhikari mentioned that investigations into the incident are ongoing in accordance with the Education Act of 2028 BS.
