Singer Prakash Timilsina passes away
KATHMANDU: Singer Prakash Timilsina has passed away, as confirmed by Lalitpur Police Spokesperson Nareshraj Subedi. Timilsina was found deceased in his room at Adinath Marg, Lalitpur Metropolitan City, around 9 pm on Saturday. His body has been taken to Patan Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Timilsina, known for his popular songs such as "Priya Timro Siundoma Bharna Deu," "Timro Haathko Sindoor," "Jun Dhandina," "Naman Laj Yesari," and "Na Aaye Ni Hunthyo," first gained prominence through the singing competition "Nepali Tara." His contributions to Nepali music were well-regarded, making his passing a significant loss to the industry.
Family sources have announced that Timilsina will be cremated at Pashupati today, where fans and family are expected to gather to pay their respects.
