India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri arrives in Kathmandu for 2-day official visit
KATHMANDU: Sewa Lamsal, the Foreign Secretary of Nepal, invited India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday on a two-day official visit. The significance of this diplomatic effort was shown when Secretary Lamsal greeted Misri at the VIP terminal upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu has emphasized that the visit highlights India's commitment to its Neighborhood First strategy, which includes a partnership with Nepal. Building on recent high-level meetings, discussions during Misri's visit are anticipated to center on strengthening bilateral relations and looking into new opportunities for cooperation.
