
Hyundai Nepal Achieves Key Milestones in Innovation and Local Manufacturing
As the exclusive distributor of Hyundai automobiles in Nepal since 2009, Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. has made significant strides in the nation's automotive sector via innovation, indigenous production, and customer service. Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. has expanded its vertical and thus the portable is not just compact vehicles like Santro, Grand i10 NIOS, i20, Aura to SUVs and sedans including Venue, Verna, Creta, Tuscon, Santa Fe and Palisade; but also electric vehicles include IONIQ-5 Electric, Kona Electric, and Creta Electric which have been highly reliable, economically efficient and durable.
The remarkable achievement was executed on May 10, 2024 when Laxmi Motor Corporation, subsidiary of Laxmi Group, opened Nepal's first car assembly plant which is located in Ramgram, Parasi. The plant produce Hyundai Venue first followed by Creta and more models will be added in the future. This milestone measures the genesis of Made-in-Nepal Hyundai's vehicle, which contributed domestic manufacturing and job creation.
Hyundai Nepal provides the sufficient service experience with customer driven mindset and now has fully equipped showrooms flooding in and fully automated service centers along with certified technicians trained in the Hyundai Training Academy in Lalitpur. Hyundai Nepal also established the first customer friendly after-sales network for dependable ownership experience.
After successfully establishing a local manufacturing base, Hyundai Nepal experienced high levels of customer engagement at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, which only bolstered Hyundai's position as one of Nepal's most trusted automotive brands.
