A former Etsy product manager built an AI-powered app for new parents
Amanda Deluca's career launched Riley, a parent management application designed to allow parents to use IA Insights to navigate early care for their children. Inspired by his own experiences of parental anxiety and inefficiency in existing parental resources, Deluca developed Riley to provide personalized scientific leadership.
Riley offers two main features:
- It provides personalized parental advice on monitoring baby's important activities such as sleep, food, and vaccines, as well as an AI-supplied question answering platform.
- This application uses medical and psychological research supported by clinical advice to ensure high quality information.
- Parents can enter data about their child's habits and receive individual ideas such as the optimal amount of sleep.
Currently, in public beta, Riley offers a subscription-based model with plans ranging from 9.99 to $14.99 per month. The startup recently won $3.1 million in seed funds led by True Ventures. Riley enters a competitive space with applications like Huckleberry and Maple, but aims to distinguish herself with an approach improved by AI-Amalie from parental support.
