
NADA Auto Show 2025 Opens in Kathmandu with Innovation and Global Brands
The NADA Auto Show 2025, running from August 19-24, 2025, kicked off today at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu and was formally inaugurated by Prime Minister, KP Sharma Oli. Held for six days, the NADA Auto Show is organized by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, and this year there are a diverse assortment of brands from around the world that will be represented, as well as local manufacturers and brands enthusiasts. The diversity of the brands and products showcased this year is exciting; the attendance this year includes participation from 36 brands total, including: 19 brands of four wheels vehicles, 13 brands of light commercial vehicles, and 4 brands of two-wheeled vehicles. Visitors can expect to see nearly a dozen new vehicle launches that will be taking place at the NADA Auto Show, you will see launches for both four-wheeled vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles, making this unique show a key industry platform to launch products and showcase product to the Nepali market.
To complement the various vehicles showcased, there are over 35 stalls, offering essential automotive products and services including lubricants, tires, spare parts, batteries, and financial services. This will give visitors a better and broader knowledge about the growth and breadth of the automotive ecosystem in the country.
The NADA Auto Show is featuring advanced technologies this year including a robot, and a prototype flying car - it's a combination and intersection of future mobility and a vintage, curated collection of classic cars. The NADA Auto Show is even including a special "Made in Nepal Pavilion", as part of that technological innovation, to promote locally manufactured and built vehicles and spare parts, and domestically manufactured solutions.
Exhibiting brands include international powerhouses like Tesla, Tata, Suzuki, BYD, Yamaha, and Royal Enfield, alongside emerging Chinese players like Xpeng, Avatr, and Deepal; and commercial brands like DFSK, Foton, Kinglong, and CG KYC will also capture attention.
The event will include seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions designed to engage industry professionals and laypersons alike. A media and traffic information desk will be provided to maximize the visitor experience.
With its mix of innovation, local manufacture, and international brands, NADA Auto Show 2025 is sure to re-establish itself as Nepal’s leading automotive exhibition.
