PM Dahal urges progress at Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has directed the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences to expedite the necessary processes to commence MBBS courses from the upcoming fiscal year. Speaking at the 7th meeting of the academy held in Pokhara, he emphasized the importance of commencing the works in a systematic manner to ensure the smooth operation of the MBBS course.
Prime Minister Dahal expressed confidence that the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences would evolve into a robust institution for medical education in the country once it becomes operational. He stressed the need for the institution to adhere to a logical schedule, highlighting that its primary objective of offering MBBS-level education would be fulfilled in the next fiscal year.
Acknowledging the pivotal role of the institution in producing competent healthcare professionals and quality medical services for the nation, the Prime Minister affirmed the government's commitment to its development and expansion. Despite economic constraints, he underscored the government's prioritization of establishing and enhancing healthcare services.
Prime Minister Dahal also addressed the internal dynamics of the CPN (Maoist Centre), affirming the party's adherence to its revolutionary ideology. He emphasized the importance of unity within the party and refuted claims of deviation from its original leadership. Asserting the need to combat individualism and factionalism within the party, he emphasized the leadership's role in steering the party towards its socialist goals and ensuring the stability of the present government.
