KATHMANDU: The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that Nepal had received the ICC Digital Fan Engagement Award. Prime Minister KP Oli commended the achievement. The award recognizes Nepal's exceptional use of digital media to interact with cricket fans throughout the world. PM Oli congratulated the Nepalis on their performance and stated that the country is committed to building a suitable environment for cricket while also generating exceptional cricket players.

PM Oli also went to social media to appreciate the splendid performances of the Nepali cricket teams and to congratulate the cricket administrators, players, and fans across the world for their passion and commitment. He praised the partnership which has made Nepal to be awarded by ICC showing the important role of Nepol in the world and its passion for cricket.

The ICC Digital Fan Engagement Award recognizes Nepal’s effective implementation of digital marketing in reaching out to fans and expanding the sport. In his Facebook post, PM Oli highlighted the fact that cricket continues to be played in Nepal and people with an interest in this game can come together from across the world.
