Erik ten Hag's three requests before agreeing to sign a new contract with Manchester United, include a vital decision on Jadon Sancho's future
What happened?
Despite being connected with a number of other managers since the conclusion of the season, United have eventually chosen to stick with the Dutchman and are apparently offering him a three-year contract extension. However, he allegedly has three main criteria before agreeing to the agreement.

According to The Sun, the first of the three requests is that technical director Jason Wilcox not meddle in team tactical concerns, having suggested that the Dutchman play Bruno Fernandes in a false nine role in their FA Cup final against Manchester City.
The second demand stems from Ten Hag and Jadon Sancho's continuing rivalry, which began when the two had a public meltdown about the winger's dedication to training. Sancho then called Ten Hag a liar on social media and was kicked out of the squad by the Dutchman. Ten Hag has made it clear that he does not want the Englishman to return to the first team until he apologises
The final requirement is that both his and first-team coach Benni McCarthy's contracts be renewed.
Did you know?
Ten Hag was on the point of dismissal before stunning Manchester City in the FA Cup final. A groundswell of support led to the decision that he would stay at the club, despite the fact that United finished ninth in the Premier League, a team record low, and conceded a record-breaking 58 goals to end with a negative goal difference for the first time in history.
What's next for Ten hag
Ten Hag will now begin pre-season and the forthcoming campaign, hoping to improve on last season's disappointing Premier League result, while also competing in the Europa League after winning the FA Cup.
