Brahim Diaz rejects Tottenham's offer and wants to stay with Real Madrid
According to a report from Foot Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to strengthen their attack ahead of next season. The north London club are interested in the services of Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz. They made an approach for the Moroccan international, who does not want to part with Los Blancos.
After an impressive loan spell at AC Milan, Real Madrid decided to incorporate him into their first team last season. Diaz was excited to play for the team and certainly did not disappoint. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder was not really an important figure in the team at the beginning of the season. But he managed to work his way into Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.
Diaz was involved in 44 matches and ended up contributing towards 21 goals, he found the back of the net on 12 occasions and bagged nine assists in just over 2,000 minutes of first-team action. Players are an indispensable part of their latest success.
When Kylian Mbappe joins the white team, Diaz's playing time can be further influenced. So the club are hoping to lure him away from the Spanish giants. Tottenham Hotspur is one of the clubs that would like to include him in their squad. Tottenham's thorns couldn't be DIAZ's method
Ange Postecoglou hopes to add more firepower to its offensive before the next season. Australian boss wants more choices. He wants to bring in a player who can add more goals and creativity, and the Real Madrid attacking midfielder could be an ideal fit for them.
He can not only compete with James Maddison for a place in the starting XI. But the 24-year-old is more than capable of playing out wide and can also play as a number nine when needed. Although Diaz has been approached by Tottenham Hotspur about a possible move to the Premier League, the player does not want to leave Real Madrid. Despite tougher competition next season, the Morocco international hopes to continue fighting for a place in the squad next season. The player is happy in the Spanish capital, where Real Madrid rejected an offer from Tottenham for him. Diaz is not for sale and only an irresistible offer can take him away from Madrid.
