PM Oli to address lawmakers' queries following vote of confidence
The House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is set to convene at 1 pm today at the Parliament Building in New Baneswor. Prime Minister KP Oli will respond to lawmakers' queries during the question and answer session.
After gaining a vote of confidence from 188 members of the 275-member House of Representatives, Prime Minister Oli just won a commanding two-thirds majority. 74 of the 263 MPs in attendance voted against him, while 1 abstained.
Additionally, the agenda includes Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ajay Chaurasiya presenting a proposal to the National Assembly for consideration of the ‘Legislation Bill, 2080’.
