PM Dahal and UML Chairman Oli discuss government functioning
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli recently held a key meeting at the Prime Minister's house in Baluwatar to discuss current political challenges. Although precise details were not provided, Ramesh Malla, PM Dahal's personal secretary, stated that the conversation focused on improving government processes in a dynamic and methodical manner.
This meeting marks the second in two days between PM Dahal and Chairman Oli, occurring amidst speculations about potential changes in political power dynamics. Reports have suggested discussions about power-sharing arrangements involving Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Earlier discussions between PM Dahal and Chairman Oli, including one at Singha Durbar attended by Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Home Minister, also underscored ongoing political deliberations.
Addressing rumors about shifts in power equations, Malla dismissed them as unfounded, emphasizing that such speculations were merely rumor-based without factual basis.
