HoR to discuss ministry-wise budget allocations
KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) is convening today to deliberate on the allocation of budgets to different ministries. The session is set to begin at 11:00 AM at the Federal Parliament building located in New Baneshwor.
The agenda for today's meeting includes ongoing discussions regarding the Appropriation Bill of 2081 BS, with a particular emphasis on the budget allocations for several key ministries. These ministries include the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the National Planning Commission, the Office of the Vice President, and the Office of the President.
During the session, several Members of Parliament (MPs) such as Amresh Kumar Singh, Prem Suwal, Roshan Karki, Rajendra Lingden, Gyan Bahadur Shahi, Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan, and Bina Lama are expected to present proposals aimed at reducing the expenditures of various ministries outlined in the Appropriation Bill of 2081 BS.
