(The Korea Herald): According to a police report Sunday, the South Korean actress Kim Sae-Ron has been found dead in her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea. A friend of the deceased discovered the lifeless body and notified the authorities around 4:50 p.m. 

Meanwhile, investigations are on to ascertain the cause of death, which has not been found to have foul play involved thus far. More information continues to emerge on this incident.

Beginning in 2009, Kim began her career as a child, and her roles in The Man from Nowhere (2010) and The Neighbors (2012) brought her fame worldwide. Her most recent creation was the Netflix series Bloodhounds in 2023.

Another incident that negatively affected her career was a drunk driving incident she had in May 2022. In April 2023, the court fined her 20 million won ($13,850) for the incident. She mostly stayed away from the commercial limelight thereafter.

She was considered one of the brightest young talents in South Korea, thus her death had tremors through her fans and the whole entertainment industry. The police are looking into the circumstances of her death.
