Trump to host UFC Fight in White House
U.S. President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he's considering hosting a UFC match on the White House grounds with up to 20,000 fans as part of America’s 250th independence celebrations in 2026. A known UFC enthusiast and close friend of UFC President Dana White, Trump revealed the idea during a speech in Iowa, where he also outlined plans for a nationwide sports tournament featuring high school athletes and a grand finale event on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
Trump emphasized that all national parks, battlefields, and historic sites would hold special events to mark the milestone and reiterated his intention to host a UFC event on the White House lawn, saying, “We have a lot of land there.”
While Trump has attended several UFC events recently, including one following his 2024 reelection and another featuring championship fights, the White House has yet to officially comment further on the proposal.
