Man Bahadur Rawat, the Coordinator of the Social Development Committee, announced the closure of teaching-learning activities from May 31 to June 4 to mitigate the impact of the extreme weather conditions.
Chakra Bahadur Bhandari, Chief of Education Division of the Sub-Metropolitan City, indicated that the municipal education committee convened a meeting and decided to close all community and institutional schools in Tulsipur for five days. This decision was made in response to the temperature in Dang district surpassing 39 degrees Celsius, posing risks to the well-being of students.
Similarly, schools operating within Rapti Rural Municipality will also be closed for two days, starting today, due to the excessive heat. This proactive measure aims to safeguard the health and safety of students amid the prevailing weather conditions.
