5 foreign nationals arrested with cocaine in Kathmandu
KATHMANDU: A team of the Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police arrested five foreign nationals in possession of a large amount of cocaine. Sources at the Bureau said the Bolivian and Tanzanian nationals were arrested with over four kg of the proscribed drug.
Additionally, an Indian national has been arrested for involvement with the case. During a news conference later today, the agency plans to reveal further information, including how and when the smuggling operation was carried out.
According to the police, the foreign nationals were arrested from various places in Kathmandu.
