Sandeep Lamichhane secures US visa to join Nepal for T20 series
KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced that Sandeep Lamichhane, a cricket player from Nepal, has obtained a US visa and is scheduled to travel to the US today evening.
Nepal won the opening game of the three-game T20 series against the USA, and his departure coincides with the series.
Lamichhane will also play in the forthcoming World Cup League-2 series, which will feature Nepali, American, and Scottish teams. Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas will host the competition from October 25 to November 4.
Prior to this, Sandeep had to go back home after competing in Canada since he was unable to compete in T20 World Cup matches in the USA because of visa issues.
