Victims of cooperative fraud to relaunch protests in Kathmandu
KATHMANDU: Victims of cooperative fraud are set to renew their protests in the capital on Friday, marking their third demonstration after the government's failure to uphold previous agreements.
According to Kushlav KC, Chairman of the Federation for Protection of Cooperative Depositors National Campaign, the protest will begin at 11 AM at Maitighar in Kathmandu. The demonstration will include protests, rallies, and hunger strikes, KC noted.
KC, who previously ended a three-week hunger strike with a government agreement, emphasized that the protests will continue nationwide until the victims' demands are met.
