RSP Central Committee National Gathering continues with key discussions
KATHMANDU: The National Gathering of the Central Committee of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is continuing for its second day at Pragya Bhawan in Kathmandu. The meeting, which started on Tuesday, has already seen the presentation of organizational, financial, discipline, and parliamentary reports by Acting General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti and other provincial representatives.
On the first day, discussions were held on reports from all provinces, as well as proposals for constitutional amendments, policies, values, the Candidate Club, and the Leadership Academy. These discussions aimed to address internal organizational matters and improve party operations.
The political report, which outlines the party's position and future political strategy, will be presented by RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane today. After that, there will be three hours dedicated to group discussions during which participants can ask questions about the reports and proposals that have been given.
The findings and suggestions will be approved by the assembly in the afternoon, following which the location and date of the party's inaugural national convention will be revealed. The outcome of this convention will probably mark a turning point in the party's history.
This is a significant event for the political and organizational future of the party, with over 1,500 representatives from across the nation attending.
