PM Oli highlights Nepal’s peace process as a global model during HoR meeting
KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives convened on Wednesday, and Prime Minister KP Oli emphasized the importance of Nepal's internal peace process. Its success, he claimed, may be attributed to Nepal's innovative and distinctive approach to peace. With significant advancements over the last eighteen years, Oli emphasized that Nepal's peace process is a paradigm for managing conflicts worldwide.
In the same meeting, a bill concerning transitional justice was tabled. Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasia presented the proposal for the Commission for Investigation of Forced Disappeared Persons, Truth and Reconciliation (Third Amendment) Bill, 2081 BS, seeking its endorsement from the House.
