PM Oli announces party meeting will not be held at government residence
KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Oli announced that he will refrain from holding party meetings at the government residence until his health allows. He conveyed this decision via social media on Thursday morning, stating that he is following suggestions received through these platforms.
In his Facebook post, Oli mentioned, “Based on the suggestions received through social media, I would like to inform the people that I will not hold party meetings at the government residence, Baluwatar, until my health permits.”
The UML’s secretariat meeting, originally set for 11 am on Thursday at the party office, had to be relocated due to flooding caused by the Manohara River. Prime Minister Oli elaborated, "Today, we are holding the party’s Secretariat meeting. The meeting will be place somewhere else because the party office has been flooded by the Manohara River."
The meeting has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. at the Basera Hotel in Hanumanthan, according to the Prime Minister's Private Secretariat.
