PM Dahal briefs HoR on India visit
KATHMANDU: At the House of Representatives today, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' elaborated on his recent visit to India before the House of Representatives today in response to various questions raised by lawmakers. His trip, which started on 9 June, was mainly to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the session, PM Prachanda clarified that his two-day visit did not revolve around any predefined agenda but rather focused on distinct matters. He elaborated on this point while addressing queries raised by lawmakers across various segments of the House of Representatives meeting, including emergency, zero, and special hours.
Today's House of Representatives gathering featured a specific agenda, with eight different ministers slated to address inquiries stemming from discussions on the Appropriation Bill, 2081. This parliamentary session offered a platform for comprehensive discussions and responses regarding various governmental matters, including the recent India visit and associated deliberations.
