Ministry of Home Affairs reshuffles Chief District Officers across five districts
KATHMANDU: Chief District Officers (CDOs) have been reassigned by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) to five different districts. Jitendra Basnet, who was transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been replaced as the CDO of Kathmandu by Jay Narayan Acharya. Acharya was the Department of Prison Management's Director General before taking on this new position.
Lila Prasad Sharma will represent Sindhuli as CDO, Kiran Thapa will represent Sindhupalchowk, and Rama Acharya Subedi will represent Pyuthan as CDO. Every one of these moves is a component of the MoHA's continuous endeavors to better handle administrative responsibilities.
Baburam Aryal has also been appointed as the new CDO for Arghakhanchi, completing the recent reshuffle of district officials. These changes reflect a strategic realignment within the Ministry to enhance governance and administrative efficiency in various districts.
