Madhesh Province government moves to remove eight ministers of state
KATHMANDU: The Madhesh Province government has moved to remove eight ministers of state from the provincial government. Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has forwarded the decision to the province chief for approval. This decision, which was communicated on Tuesday morning, follows a consensus among the ruling parties at the Center.
The eight ministers of state recently appointed, namely Keshav Raya, Sharda Devi Thapa, Ranju Kumari Mandal Tong, Rekha Thakur, Neelam Kumari Rajak, Ram Babu Yadav, Shambhu Shah, and Mohammad Jaid Alam, are now set to be dismissed.
The Chief Minister’s Office has officially requested the province chief to execute the removal of these ministers. In the wake of this decision, the provincial government has appointed Rekha Thakur, Neelam Kumari Rajak, Ram Babu Yadav, Shambhu Shah, and Mohammad Jaid Alam as new provincial ministers.
The Province Chief’s Office has confirmed receipt of the letter and is processing the request for the dismissal of the eight ministers of state.
