KP Sharma Oli urges PM Dahal to resign
KATHMANDU: Earlier today, this morning, CPN (Maoist) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli had a meeting at Baluwatar. During the meeting of the two leaders, Chairperson Oli informed PM Dahal about the deal that was made to form the new government between the two largest parties of the parliament the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress.
Chairman Oli urged PM Dahal to resign and pave the way for the new government. The following provision of the agreement declares that the CPN-UML will form the government and hold it for the first 1. Five years after this, the Nepali Congress will be in charge.
KP Sharma Oli will lead the UML in nine ministries, including the Finance Ministry, during the first phase of government. This arrangement puts the CPN-UML in a position to dictate the course and formulation of government policy throughout this time.
Meanwhile, the Nepali Congress will oversee 10 ministries, including the Home Ministry, ensuring significant influence in the new government structure. This agreement between the two largest parties in parliament aims to establish a cooperative leadership transition.
