Foreign Minister discusses timely implementation of MCC projects with CEO Alice P. Albright
KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba met with Alice P. Albright, CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), on Monday at the Nepali Embassy. The discussion focused on the progress and enforcement of the MCC project that Nepal signed in 2017.
The significance of the projects' prompt completion in accordance with the MCC agreement was underlined during the debate. These initiatives involve improving Nepal's highways and putting in place a transmission line.
These infrastructure projects, which are essential to Nepal's development, get $50 million in support from the MCC project.
The discussion happened right before Dr. Rana left for Doha to attend the 79th United Nations General Assembly.
Her travel to America demonstrated Nepal's continued dedication to upholding international commitments and improving its infrastructure via the MCC cooperation.
