PM Oli urges Nepali youth abroad to return and contribute to Nation's development
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has encouraged young people from Nepal who have been living outside to return and help economic growth and job creation in their nation as the 79th United Nations General Assembly is being held in New York City. He made this plea in a speech to the Columbia University World Leaders Forum, emphasizing the vital role that youth play in achieving Nepal's development goals.
Essential elements of Oli's "Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali" agenda include ending poverty and ensuring everyone's right to a life of dignity. To support this goal and contribute to the success of their country, he underlined the need for young people returning to Nepal.
At his keynote address on the "Journey of Nepal's Democracy and Economic Development," Oli acknowledged the trend of youth emigration but asserted that many young Nepalis have returned home to contribute to the development of their country. He encouraged the rest of the youth to follow his example and help the nation grow.
Oli emphasized the government's initiatives to support startups and small-scale industries in order to stimulate employment development. He claimed that the youthful energy and efforts of Nepal's population have a significant role in the country's change.
Prime Minister Oli also emphasized Nepal's advantageous location between the two largest economies in the world, China and India, stating that this offers great potential for the nation's economic expansion and diversification.
He expressed optimism about Nepal's economic future, stating that with hard effort and effective resource management, the country might soon achieve prosperity. He reassured the audience that things could get better and that things weren't as awful as some thought about Nepal's economy.
Oli called for unity among Nepalis, particularly among the youth, to support national development initiatives. He underlined how crucial it is that they work together to make Nepal a rich and happy country.
In his statement, Prime Minister Oli emphasized the government's commitment to good governance and openness. He talked about the priority on improving the welfare of all citizens under his coalition administration. Two prominent parties in Nepal's democratic movement joined together to create the coalition.
PM Oli reaffirmed his commitment to seeing Nepal through economic growth, saying that the only goal of his administration is to see Nepalis flourish and be happy. He guaranteed that his leadership was still motivated by this vision.
