International Calendar Committee announces 2024 Dashain Tika timings for 32 countries
KATHMANDU: 32 nations, including Nepal, have received the announcement of the auspicious periods for implementing Dashain Tika from the International Calendar Determination Committee. The statement was released in response to questions about the celebration of Bijaya Dashami 2024 from Sanatan Dharma adherents around the globe.
October 12 at 11:36 AM is considered to be the auspicious hour for Tika in Kathmandu, Nepal. The Sanatan Dharma community is present all over the world, hence the committee also issued precise dates for various nations.
In India, the same day at 11:42 AM is considered good for Delhi. 10:01 AM in New York, 10:39 AM in Frankfort, Kentucky, 9:45 AM in Owensboro, Kentucky, 10:05 AM in Texas, 9:55 AM in Washington, DC, and 9:39 AM in California are the times for people who live in the United States.
On October 12, the finest timings in Canada are 10:15 AM in Toronto and 10:27 AM in Vancouver. In the meantime, the committee supplied the schedules for Oceania and Asia.
On October 13, around 11:35 AM, Tokyo is considered fortunate for Japan. 11:21 AM in Sydney, 11:27 AM in Melbourne, 11:29 AM in Brisbane, and 11:15 AM in Canberra are the timings in Australia. On October 13, New Zealand time is 11:25 AM in Wellington.
