With a record high of Rs 160,700 per tola, the price of gold
Gold prices broke new records in Nepal's domestic market on Thursday, rising by Rs 300 per tola and maintaining their upward trend.
As per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the current price of pure gold per tola is Rs 160,700, which is a decrease from Rs 160,400 on the previous day.
Global market movements, especially when the US Federal Reserve decided to decrease interest rates, are blamed for the current increase in gold prices. This move has attracted investors to gold and increased demand for it globally.
In the meantime, the domestic market's price of silver stayed steady at Rs 1,955 per tola.
