Gold Price Reaches a High Record in Nepal.

The price of gold has changed groundbreaking rate in the domestic market, increasing by Rs 900 per tola on Tuesday. Setting new records despite minor oscillation, recently the price of the gold has been rising steadily. At a time when due to international reasons, the price of gold in the domestic market has been soaring. The increased customs duty imposed by the government has further affected the bullion price in Nepal.
Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association states, fine gold is now priced at Rs 147,800 per tola, up from Rs 146,900 per tola on Monday. This sudden upswing marks the beginning of the Shrawan with a significant increase in gold prices. On Monday, the price had already risen by Rs 200 per tola, setting a new record in the domestic market. Similarly, 22-karat gold (tejabi gold) is being traded at Rs 147,100 per tola today, compared to Rs 146,200 per tola on Monday.
