Petroleum product prices decline
With effect from Thursday, the Nepal Oil Corporation has lowered the price of petroleum products.
The NOC announced in a press statement on Wednesday that the price of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene oil has dropped by Rs. 1 and Rs. 2, respectively, per litre. The cost of aviation gasoline has not increased.
After the price reduction, petrol now costs Rs 167 per litre in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amalekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj, while diesel and kerosene oil cost Rs 155 per liter.
Petrol will cost Rs 169 per litre in Surkhet and Dang, while diesel and kerosene oil would cost Rs 157 per liter.
In Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Dipayal, the price of gasoline has been set at Rs 170 per litre, while that of diesel and kerosene oil at Rs 158 per liter.
