Solos unveiled AirGo Vision, the world's first smart glasses with GPT-4o
Solos' latest smart glasses have eyes of their own. The company announced the launch of AirGo Vision, the first smart glasses equipped with GPT-4o and generative artificial intelligence (AI) capable of analyzing visual input. So why do your glasses need chatgt? Solos said Airgo Vision would not use services like Google's lens on mobile phones to search for certain things, but will provide information in real time (eg staff, object or oriental identification) based on visual input (eg, Meta's ray as delivered . The glasses will be able to answer several questions at the same time. A sample search for the Solos newsletter reads: “What am I watching and how much is it? Is there a better price somewhere else?"
The AirGo Vision will have swappable frames, meaning you can decide whether you want smart glasses with a front camera or no camera.
A built-in LED notification light will give you a discrete flash to let you know that you have an alert. Solos said visual alerts could be useful in noisy environments where notifications can be missed, in quiet environments where someone has turned off notifications, and for users who may be hearing impaired.
AirGo Vision is not Solos' first foray into the field of artificial intelligence smart glasses. The company presented Solo smart glasses AirGo3 with ChatGPT at CES 2024. While the Solo AirGo3 uses audio to let you talk to ChatGPT, the AirGo Vision glasses let you search for information using visual input. AirGo Vision will be available later this year, with three styles of LED frames to be released in July with a suggested retail price of $249.99.
