KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the local market increased by Rs. 1,400 per tola today, as reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA).

The price of fine gold surged from Rs. 149,600 per tola to Rs. 151,000 per tola today, Tuesday, January 1, 2025.

Silver's price remained unchanged and stayed at Rs. 1,765 per tola.
