Man absconds after allegedly murdering wife by slitting her throat in Rukum East
KATHMANDU: In Rukum East, Jeevan Oli, popularly as Dame, is accused of killing his wife Apsara Oli, 25, by cutting her neck with a khukuri. The incident happened on Friday night at 11 PM, according to Hari Bhattarai, the District Police Office, Rukum East inspector and information officer. The corpse of Apsara Oli was found in a ditch around 100 meters from their Tamari Chisapani, Bhume Rural Municipality-6 home.
The deceased's husband, Jeevan Oli, and their five-year-old kid, Aayush Oli, are currently at large. To find him, law enforcement officials launched a search operation, and they are still looking into the event. As part of the police's protocol, Apsara Oli's body has been sent to Rukum East Hospital for a postmortem examination.
