Baikuntha Aryal transferred to special position after corruption allegations
KATHMANDU: Baikuntha Aryal, who was suspended from his role as Chief Secretary, has been transferred by the government to a newly created special position of equivalent rank within the National Planning Commission. The decision was announced by Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma, who stated that this new role will be specifically maintained for Aryal throughout his tenure.
The transfer comes amid a corruption case filed against Aryal in the Special Court on Sunday. This move appears to reposition Aryal within the government structure while addressing legal proceedings against him.
