Amazon to hold Prime Day sales on July 16 and 17
Amazon announced on Tuesday that its annual gold sales activities will take place from July 16 to 17. Members selected for a sale on the item will receive an email with instructions for purchasing the item. Amazon is already offering some early bird deals for Prime members. Users who haven't tried Amazon Music Unlimited, which went up in price last year, can get a five-month subscription for free. The company is also offering a three-month trial of the new grocery service with unlimited deliveries on orders over $35 at Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market and other partner stores.
Last year's Prime Day was a hit for Amazon, as US consumers spent $12.7 billion, up 6.1% from 2022, according to Adobe Analytics. The average order size also rose from $52.26 to $54.05, research firm Numerator said.
