Meta's revamped Quest app has a strong emphasis on Horizon Worlds
Meta launches a modified version of its Quest mobile application, which linked it to the worlds of 3D social platform Horizs. The application is now called Meta Horizo N with a new label that allows you to fulfill the task from the mobile phone and customize the embodiment. You can also use this application to explore and join the new world and communicate with your friends Horizo N Worlds. Meta said the update would not delete any features in existing applications.
Another small update to the Meta Horizon app is the addition of a light mode so you can easily switch between light and dark colors at any time. Earlier this month, Meta also launched a new content stream from creators on the mobile app. The update is coming as Meta seems to expand Horizon Worlds and its handle in the VR industry. In April, Meta announced plans to license its headset operating system, called Horizon OS, to companies like Lenovo and Asus. It will also begin to feature experimental App Lab games more prominently in the Meta Horizon store and try to make it easier for developers to get their mobile games on Horizon OS.
