Search continues for 2 missing fishermen in Rapti River
KATHMANDU: Two individuals who went missing while fishing in the Rapti River in Jamunaghat, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-27, are still unaccounted for. Sanjeev Kumar Chaudhary, age 43, from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-25, and Shuk Bahadur Pariyar, age 45, from Bharatpur's Ward No. 27 were reported missing on Friday.
The search operations, involving deep divers from the Nepali Army, armed police, and local volunteers, have been ongoing. Despite their efforts, the missing individuals have not yet been located.
Police Inspector Laxman KC reported that the search for Chaudhary and Pariyar continues as of today, with teams tirelessly working to find them.
