KATHMANDU: The Nepal Police Headquarters has ordered 13 long-absent police personnel to report to the office within the coming seven days. The instruction was issued amid a Monday notice addressed to those who are voluntarily abstaining from duty and remaining out of contact despite attempts to reach them.

The notice had warned that those failing to comply within the stipulated time would be removed from service. This action will be done in view of violating Rule 113, sub-rule, item no 1 of the Police Regulations, 2071, under Rule 109, sub-rule, item no 1 of the same regulations.
