Paddy and millet production up in Myagdi
Paddy and millet generation has expanded in Myagdi this year compared to the final year.
The Agriculture Knowledge Centre reports that paddy generation has increased by five percent and millet generation has increased by two percent this year.
Agriculture expansion officer at the Krishi Knowledge Centre Ganga Lamichhane said that the generation of millets and other vegetables and fruits has too expanded compared to the past a long time.
The generation of paddy planted in diverse parts of the area having one district and five country districts has expanded this year as compared to final year.
According to the Centre, paddy has been planted on 3,806 hectares of arrive in the current financial year, out of which 13,664 metric tons was created. Final year, 12,979 metric tons were delivered in the same area.
Centre's chief Sanjeev Bastola said that the generation has expanded compared to the past due to favorable climate, less affect of diseases, adequate rainfall amid the time of planting and when required.
