After Flipkart, Binny Bansal departs PhonePe's board
Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart, has surrendered from PhonePe’s Board of Executives. Bansal has been a board part since Flipkart procured PhonePe in 2016. Strikingly, the advanced installments firm isolated from Flipkart in December 2022.
However, Binny has not sold his stake and is still the single biggest person minority shareholder at PhonePe. In January, he took a total exit from the e-commerce commercial center Flipkart, which he co-founded along with Sachin Bansal.
In a parallel advancement, PhonePe has designated Manish Sabharwal as a Free Executive and Chair of its Audit Committee. He will play a key part in guaranteeing the integrity and adequacy of PhonePe's money related detailing, internal controls, and hazard administration processes.
