Pokhara Avengers set a 162-run goal for the Chitwan Rhinos
Chitwan Rhinos have set a target of 162 runs against Pokhara Avengers in the progressing Nepal premier League (NPL) match at the Tribhuvan university Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
After losing the toss and being put to bat, Chitwan overseen 161 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. The innings was tied down by Ravi Bopara, who scored a significant 51 runs off 38 balls, counting three fours and three sixes, sometime recently being caught off Raymon Reifer’s delivery.
Despite an unstable begin, with Chitwan at 46-3 in 5.2 overs, captain Kushal Malla (38 off 23 balls) and Bopara balanced out the innings with a 68-run organization for the fourth wicket. Malla struck one four and four sixes some time recently being rejected by Sagar Dhakal, caught by wicketkeeper Kushal Bhurtel.
Deepak Bohora (2) and Hasan Ishaquille (14) fell early to Bipin Khatri, whereas Sohail Tanvir was expelled for a golden duck.
