Fans need to understand how to respect the limits: Cricket players show support for Haris Rauf
Cricket players who know Rauf well also came out in his favor, saying that while it's every fan's entitled to criticize, it should be done with grace.
According to all-rounder Shadab Khan, cricket players take criticism well, but nobody has the right to "attack" players, particularly while their families are there.
"How would you feel if anyone makes a personal attack in presence of your family members," questioned the man.
It was "extremely condemnable," according to former red-ball skipper Shan Masood, to use "inappropriate" language in front of relatives.
Hasan Ali, the pacer, expressed his desire to inform the supporters that while criticism is "your right," it should be delivered in a morally responsible manner.
He urged the supporters to show consideration for the cricket players' families. Cricket player Junaid Khan addressed the situation by saying: "Criticism was everyone's right but hurling abuse words and interference in personal affairs is not."
Mohammad Hafeez, the former team director, also showed support for Rauf. He added that "the boundaries of players' personal life and professional life must be respected" .
