PM Oli pledges support to private sector
KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli recently met to talk about policies meant to encourage investment and grow the private sector. At the meeting, Prime Minister Oli underlined that the nation's development objectives cannot be met without strengthening the private sector. He gave his word that the incoming administration would implement measures to assist and encourage business owners, emphasizing their vital role in growing the nation's economy.
According to a FNCCI press statement, Prime Minister Oli underlined his commitment to adopting unique efforts to support the private sector, emphasizing its critical role in economic development. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel also attended the meeting, demonstrating government support for these projects.
FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal led a team that emphasized the significance of regulatory agencies working together successfully to promote investment during the talks. The delegation suggested that in order to improve economic conditions, the Prime Minister should establish an Economic Reforms Commission or a comparable body that would involve the private sector.
