Non-Resident Nepali Association pledges Rs 10 million for flood relief efforts in Nepal
In order to support Nepalis affected by floods, landslides, and inundation brought on by persistent rains around the nation, the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has promised to provide Rs 10 million. The first round of financial assistance for the flood victims was announced by NRNA President Dr. Badri KC during a virtual meeting on Sunday.
The NRNA has formed a high-level committee to collect financial help in order to support this endeavor. The National Coordination Council chairs, regional coordinators, and other association office bearers will be part of this group, which will be led by NRNA Vice-President Dr. Hemraj Sharma.
As a sign of the association's commitment to helping the Nepali people both domestically and internationally, the NRNA has pledged to offer urgent relief to individuals impacted by the recent natural catastrophes.
