Heavy rainfall causes flooding in Kathmandu
KATHMANDU: The incessant rainfall since Tuesday night has raised the water level of the Bagmati River, causing flooded conditions at Thapathali, Teku, and Balkhu. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, all provinces experienced light to moderate rainfall during the last 12 hours.
Wednesday's weather forecast has predicted fairly extensive cloud cover all over the country, and some parts of the country are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfalls along with thunder and lightning. The affected provinces will be Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.
